@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social it’s part of AppKit. It’s in /System/Library/Frameworks/AppKit.framework/Versions/C/XPCServices/LegacyExternalColorPickerService-x86_64.xpc/Contents/MacOS/LegacyExternalColorPickerService-x86_64
But when it gets launched automatically by the system, random apps, not the system get blamed.

@rosyna@mastodon.social but is it not triggered by legacy color picker plugins in your plugins folder? I presume it's the harness to load up Intel-based plugins on Apple Silicon. I've never seen the alert, but I haven't had any plugins for years
