@jschauma@mstdn.social i'm not sure i've ever heard a more dystopian possible career... a couple of jobs ago, i was technically an SME/architect. but i realized early on that my job was "no". - no, that won't work - no, that violates the protocol - no, that violates EU law - no, that defies the laws of physics - no, that's an unsupportable mess - no, that isn't what the user feedback meant at all - no, there's no way we'll finish that in 1 sprint - no, users won't fall for that it sucked all the joy out of my job. yet, this sounds worse.

@jschauma@mstdn.social What strikes me as funny is that trying to contact some company and having to argue your way through an obtuse chatbot has been one of the most hateful experiences of the modern world for a while.
