@CoolerPseudonym@wandering.shop I would say that toki pona is anti-hyperrationalist; it’s meant (I’d argue) to require expanded semantic range and metaphorical speaking. It’s polysemous in the way the world actually is and in the way hyperrationalism assumes the world is not.
But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a coping mechanism, or that it wasn’t a contributor. (And at the same time this is a very Babel-17 position I wouldn’t have seriously entertained before the advent of LLM psychosis.)
