@llamasoft_ox@toot.wales I heard a story that 'the main reason' they do that is because ChatGPT at the moment 'is not profitable' and is actually losing money, it costs lot more than what it's earning ( and apparently kept alive only by 'investors/hype' ? ). So they have to start grabbing money where they can and that seems to be only in 2 ways : p0rn and ads.
