Heat arriving tomorrow but again it will spare us in the coast. 32ยบC for Lisbon, 30ยบC for us. Not bad. ๐ Apparently it will be a hot eclipse in land. Hopefully not a very smokey hot eclipse. ๐ I always get worried when thousand of people head to an area, in this case the NE of the country.

Looking at the forecast. It seems Summer will arrive on the 20th. Not sure how long it will stay but at least 4 days. Note: Lots of fuss about the super El Niรฑo that it's expected to arrive in June. I think authorities are worried about the fire season.

Now, that's a thing I never expected to see at Lidl. ๐ฎ ๐ Cooked snails. And they are Bio snails. I'm not into it but I have to admit they are pleasing the locals. (pic taken this afternoon)

This morning was busy. But my balcony is ready for the dog days of Summer. ๐ Well, at least as ready as it can be. And I had my 2 walks, short version, one early in the morning and one in the afternoon.๐

"So many days without seing you" "I knew you were fine, but I missed you" "You look adorable." Some more talk and then "See you Sidney. If you need me just show up." ๐ ...

I couldn't resist to go for a relatively short stroll this afternoon. There was a little bit of rain at times but not that much 1. Low (natural) light 2. At the top the hill the next town and further ahead the taller buildings of civilisation 3. Walking back down 4. What?!?! Why on earth they painted that all black? The employees will probably melt in there during Summer. ๐ฒ

I walked to town. On the way back I noticed one more construction now complete. Behind the red gate is the original farm house from from the 1780s which was rebuilt and remodelled. In that one they a kind of kept the original look. Tthen they fit an extra house in front instead of using the space for a nice garden, yard. Well at least they kept the gate entrance that I always liked a lot. Note: I can't wait to see how many more houses they will fit in the space still not built.

An eventful morning walk cut short. ๐ 1. Lots of activity up there. (I don't really know the objective but a hole was created in the sidewalk) 2. Trying to help with some work being done (He got out there safely, tried to climb up again and ended up being told to go inside.) 3. Start thinking of turning back (I got to the market as the rain reached me) 4. Styrofoam in the wild in Spring

I love Spring. ๐ I just walked down to Lidl. A few minutes of sun, then there is shade created by clouds. Then it comes a short rain shower, a couple of minutes later it's back to sun. It continues like that all the way down and back. A lovely proper Spring unlike last month. 1. Sky 2. Several lilies of the Nile are about to open
