@sarajw@front-end.social thank you! the lack of empathy I've seen from people throughout this entire process has been so eye opening. I feel like I've lost even more hope in humanity whilst going through this experience (I know there are 1000 reasons, but here's just one more).

@jedda@social.lol it's miserable. I don't know how people don't remember, or maybe it's not happened to them in a long time. I explained to my mum what applying for (tech) jobs is like right now. That you're lucky to get a response, and then if you do, you might have some terrible multiple choice quiz to do, and then either live coding a mystery problem or a few hour's homework, on which you might get grilled on your choices. Mum was amazed. She said you basically used to get hired based on personality.
