seeing yet another person say basically "I know I need to leave github, but I can't right now" ..
a talk title came to me: "look for the exit nearest you". This hypothetical talk would be full of actionable ways to reduce the eventual costs of leaving an online service, even one that seems heaven-sent today.
Because we sure keep being fooled about the shiny new service, thinking it'll be just as good forever because who would deliberately ruin it...
