Does anyone have a good way to deal with spammers that send &quot;just checking if you got my previous email&quot; follow-ups every few days? I tried blocking, reporting spam, etc, to no effect it seems. What do you do? Do you send GDPR takedown notices? Write elaborate rules for your email client? Something else? I use @fastmail if it&#39;s relevant.

@gosha@merveilles.town I’m using fastmail too and I found their spam filter to be generally ok but sometimes oddly insensitive to certain particular types of spam. Usually, what gets through is spam with a valid origin server in a reputable location. In these cases, I usually escalate straight to their hoster’s abuse contact and train my a client-side filter on the mail.
