@redcrew@mstdn.social I have not had any luck with keeping cabbage moths away via companion planting. Of course, I haven't tried mint because it's so invasive here I don't let it escape from the mint pots. But, I haven't seen any noticeable results from companion planting with other herbs or marigolds.
What does work is very light weight landscape fabric. Tucked under ground. And put in very early in the season. Sealed.
I also hear that people have good results from hand picking the larvae every morning.

@colo_lee@mstdn.social Thanks, Lee. Sorry you haven't had luck with companion planting for keeping cabbage moths away. They are tenacious, aren't they? I currently have my cabbage in pots in a butterfly cage. But I suspect they may soon outgrow (height) the space available. I'm afraid I wouldn't be very consistent at picking larvae every morning.
