@FloatingOnion@cyberplace.social As a landlord (spending part of today supervising various repairs going on at a rental property) I haven't seen any obvious serious problems with the new legislation. The pets thing might turn out to be an issue, but the big problem, for some people, will be the wait for a court date to get bad tenants evicted whilst they continue to trash the property, pay no rent or council tax or utilities, and make the neighbours' lives hell.

@TimWardCam@c.im Decent landlords, and I’ve had some great ones, shouldn’t have anything to worry about. Getting crap tenants out sounds like it can already be problematic, and it doesn’t change that, or eviction for no rent. Court times are a much wider issue.
