@clarissawam@mefi.social I’ve found that legal translation is like untangling the cables behind my desk. Judges will lead you down a subtle line of reasoning at some length, and then yank you around, “but in order for that to be valid, we must ignore such-and-such, which establishes blah-blah.”

@adamrice@c.im yeah. I translated the main clause first, then inserted all the subclauses. There is a reason I don't do legal translation, generally. 😅 (Okay, the other reason is I don't have liability insurance...)
