@Chancerubbage@mastodon.social @WTL@mastodon.social much of Jellyfin is more fiddly than I’d prefer, and the ecosystem is smaller than Plex’s by a lot.
Further, short of doing some really technical shit, the sharing story is basically nonexistent.
But for /me/, it’s pretty great.

@caseyliss@mastodon.social @WTL@mastodon.social As someone who is not sharing or planning to use a home media server outside the home , and with new wrinkles I’ve heard about plex, I’m not sure the differences would concern me. Disclosure: I am still in shopping planning and building stages re home media servers. And not quite sure tthat a now playing flag in call sheet serves as much of a perk, or how.
