Just saw the video, if I implemented anything remotely like this and called it secure, I would be out of a job pretty quickly. The vault is accessible with any random pin just by editing a conf file? why reinvent the wheel?
Not to mention, of course, why force age verification crap when it is obviously just a front for enhanced data collection and monitoring.

@ncrav@mas.to They're relying on the "they just don't want children to be safe" misrepresentation to work on enough people that those people don't hear what it's really about, and don't recognise the truth for themselves, that they get away with it and can monitor what everybody does all the time. It's cheaper than paying police to investigate crimes using legitimate routes through a robust legal system.
