@ReignOfRaining@transfem.social my friend used one of the new photoshop versions like a year ago and he told me his CPU usage spiked like crazy just by starting the app, on a very competent laptop from like 6y ago at most idk how people put up with this but I guess I'm also putting up with a horrible IDE cause it's what we gotta use at work

@driftini@wetdry.world I just don't see any value in it at all, perhaps its lack of experience with their products but I've always been able to make high quality art using free and open source tools. I am a firm believer of choice, but what choice are you really giving your users when the only options are pay us more money for something stable or go back to the dark ages and figure it out for yourself?
