@driftini@wetdry.world I just don't see any value in it at all, perhaps its lack of experience with their products but I've always been able to make high quality art using free and open source tools.
I am a firm believer of choice, but what choice are you really giving your users when the only options are pay us more money for something stable or go back to the dark ages and figure it out for yourself?

@ReignOfRaining@transfem.social the tools definitely don't define what one is capable of making, but I think photoshop's biggest strength is that it has so many users who have been building up experience for literal decades definitely a lot more resources to find as a user looking for tutorials and such, compared to something like krita (which for the record ranks extremely high for me for FOSS standards, it's seriously impressive)
