#ScribesAndMakers May 7: When did you think of the idea for your current project? The only project on my plate that I haven't talked about on that line is the one currently code named The Cheating Game. I'm not really sure but the oldest entries in the project folder are from 2023. Do you remember how it came about? Not really. I'm sure it came about from the dynamic between the protagonists and an eventuality that will eventually cause them some significant issues. :blobcatgiggle: (The premise is that a married couple agree to give each other permission to 'cheat' within certain boundaries as long as they tell each other the story. In that sense, it's a bit of a frame story.)

#ScribesAndMakers May 8: Leviathan? Listen. You cannot just drop leviathan, who has ties to Lotan and Tiamat, into my prompts. That ties a concept from early Hebrew legend in with Canaanite and Mesopotamian stuff. While I'm pretty sure there's no direct connection to Fenrir, double-checking my references on Wikipedia reminded me of some elements of that figure too. I love y'all but we cannot be doing this. :blobcatgiggle: Anyway. Our great hero faces down the great beast, Leviathan. They fight to a stand still. The hero asks what Leviathan wants. Leviathan says to be left alone. The hero says "oh, shit. Sorry, dude." "Happens all the time." Leviathan swims off, thinking comparatively charitable thoughts about the hero. And then the author avoids telling a joke in poor taste involving a certain science educator and harasser of critters. (I'm not upset at all but I seriously could nerd out about this forever.)
