Well, a bit of an issue getting internet to the house. The Telus tech came by, discovered there isn't room for me at the distribution box(?) because all of the existing spots have customers assigned. So they're going to do something (pull fiber?) to make room for me.
An estimated two weeks until that's ready! 😠

@ajh@indieweb.social I waited at least two MONTHS for them to pull fiber from the road to my house under construction in 2014 and considered myself lucky. I live on 10 acres in a rural residential area. This access costs about $56/month from a local company. When I call them during office hours, a PERSON answers the phone. I've got zero complaints and might have to live here forever. Good luck with your install!
