@amostart@mastoart.social Very nice! I only saw my first blooming saguaros a couple of years ago. I didn't know that about the blooms. As I recall, they opened at night and were closed by late morning?

@elaterite@mastoart.social yes! Although to be honest, I've seen blossoms open throughout the day as well. But I think bats are one of the primary pollinators for a lot of cactus species so opening at night is definitely more advantageous and avoids getting scorched by the sun!
