@FactGrid@openbiblio.social Habt ihr schon ein Matching mit den üblichen Verdächtigen versucht (Geonames, OSM, Google)? Habe bei Memarc da relativ viele Namen aus den ehemaligen Ostgebieten zuordnen können, wenn auch einen Haufen falsch. Aber mit Eingrenzung auf eine BoundingBox klappt das oft ganz gut.

@FactGrid@openbiblio.social Gibt dazu, gerade den abgebildeten (W. Laur), doch diverse Bände. Oder sind es nur Ortsnamen ohne regionale Einordnung? Da wird vermutlich auch jede landes- oder regionalhistorische Institution helfen können.

@FactGrid@openbiblio.social Had a similar problem in Memarc for modern names in Eastern Europe. We used a mix of Geonames with fuzzy search (using Levenstein). Google geo api was also quite helpful, though in your case, it might be quite inaccurate. Still, you could try these, weeding out nonsense results, e.g. wrong continent. In your case, a phonetic similarity algorithm might help, on German you can use Kölner Phonetik.
