@vmachiel@mastodon.nl zero interest in these kinds of arguments, dunno why you'd bring it to me. If you eat meat or drive a car, you're knowingly destroying the world we live in, but nobody's going around cutting themselves off from the people who do. I have zero interest in copyright arguments, or what jobs survive the transition. I think it's hypocritical for artists who grew up on stolen copies of Photoshop (which is a lot of them) to complain about AI art, and I just don't think AI training is stealing

@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social stealing photoshop is hardly comparable to stealing like.. all the art out there though. And that is assuming they did steal it, while we know a handful of tech companies stole it all. Just one more brick in the wall of inequality And eating meat is a bit whataboutism no?
