@stroughtonsmith@mastodon.social stealing photoshop is hardly comparable to stealing like.. all the art out there though. And that is assuming they did steal it, while we know a handful of tech companies stole it all. Just one more brick in the wall of inequality
And eating meat is a bit whataboutism no?

@vmachiel@mastodon.nl I don't think it's stealing, sorry. I don't think it's stealing when a human reads/watches/views something and learns from it and produces something based on that knowledge, and I'm not prepared to draw a line describing how smart or stupid an intelligence has to be to make that OK vs not-OK. And I think the overall value this stuff brings far outweighs any of these issues. The one aspect I do care about is the environmental impact, but I think that's a problem to be solved
