@Natanox@chaos.social when the X1C came out there was a lot of discussion about it. Price point, out of the box performance, etc. Almost everyone I interacted with in the 3d printing community was saying don't worry about the closed source nature of the printer (or at least that was my recollection). Really happy I went in another direction; tbh I wasn't entirely expecting Bambu to do the corpo thing. Bit of luck there.
