Dear BBC Radio 4 continuity announcers,
Please give us a break with instructions about how to listen to Radio 4 on a smart speaker.
How about telling us how to restore our grandfathers AM valve radio and tune into Radio 4 long wave?

@robpumphrey@mastodonapp.uk Suggest replacing any valves whose heaters don't light up, and then any dodgy looking capacitors. *If* you can find a modern replacement. Oh, and of course any obvious damage, like melted wires or wires whose insulation has perished and is flaking off.
