@gwenhael Of course that is a great way to do things. Just like my dwm is absolutely my dwm, no one has the same one. If you can automate the process like that it is very useful and I am sure @jloc0 does the same with his repos. As for running a slackbuild, where i pull down a deb manually and turn it into a Slackware pkg, I see no difference with getting the rpm and running rpm2tgz (and having the same functionality). But hey, that's me 😎

    @thesaigoneer @gwenhael of course I use tools to automate a ton of things, but automation only goes so far for me. I prefer a human touch for many things in the end. Because things slip by automatic processes, and I notice things much easier with my eye. Like any tool, using what is comfortable and practical for oneself is the best approach. As long as you get where you're going, then thats the perfect solution!
