Gonna be honest, the most depressing thing at the moment is how I feel like I’m never part of any group or community.
YouTubers for any series? Nope.
Game developers and modders? Nope.
Writers and bloggers and journalists? Nope.
Techies and software engineers? Nope.
Every field I’m in and hobby I have, I just see the in crowd having the time of their lives with no recognition at all. It’s like I can get likes and retweets, but never anything more than that.

@CM30@ohai.social Such is the illusion of social media. We're all just bopping along. There is no community in any real sense, only cliques and personae. Some imagine themselves a main character and make noise, most are just lurking. You? You strike a balance. You're good.
