There is a pretty basic argument for effective public transit, which is that driving is a skill and, like any skill, something not everyone can do well, so there should be other choices.

@nickheer@c.im when you walk to get around and you see how many people use their phones you wonder how much happier they’d be playing with their phone on a train or tram and not having to worry about getting caught out or killing someone
