I've been getting a bit fond of rear-mounted switches and/or brush panels when needed rather than every single patch terminating in the front even for in-rack systems
gets a lil bit more messy when there is a mix of in-rack and remote devices tho

@rachel @osman When part of my work was to manage a bit of data center assembly, we did run some experiments with back mounted switches. It works well, but it's highly dependent on the rack type and the size of the patch cords. But, like I said in the blog, I am still thinking about what to do in my case. I don't think I will mount the switch in the back, but I most likely will find some kind of cable management. Maybe I will not over-complicate and just put another keystone and run the cables trough the holes. I don't know yet.
