I keep visual lists of typefaces to browse through when I’m looking for something new to use. It’s mostly an excuse to bookmark ones I know I already like so I can easily find them again. If that sounds like something you’d like too, here ya go: https://www.are.na/jason-santa-maria/typefaces-tzey0yfej6y (I finally moved this stuff off of Pinterest and have been enjoying Are.na so far!)

@jasonsantamaria@typo.social I’m more interested in the shift from Pinterest :). It’s probably the worst software my family regularly relies on. Has Are.na fully replaced it for you? The way the product describes itself is not very Pinterest-like. Any insight would be appreciated.

@jasonsantamaria@typo.social Why oh why have I never thought of cataloging typefaces like this? I’ve been relying on collections in Font Book, even for “would like to use someday”. But Font Book is getting so unusable… Thank you for the inspiration (and work).

@jasonsantamaria@typo.social I also made list of fonts mainly for my media degree: https://raindrop.io/krisu/fonts-35266287 Focuses on Adobe / Google Fonts and free commercially usable fonts outside of those services. Using Raindrop, since it has decent free tier and great search features. Public list has some kinks that I have to fix though (too long descriptions, some reason for public lists, Raindrop shortens the text and make text longer on hover, causing massive UX issues)
