@Phangurl@vmst.io Ok, so between filming seasons of Atlantis, David Hewlett wanted to film his own movie. Real low budget indy style. He wrote it with his then-fiance (now wife). And filmed it with his sister Kate, his best friend (Paul Mcgillion), and his dog. And bought a house to film in. Also the Stargate people let them film on the Daedalus sets for a few scenes, and there are a few cameos from some other stargate folks. But mainly the movie is just David, Kate, Paul, a house, a dog. 1/

@Phangurl The episode with his sister is the one where they make a bridge to an alternate universe, and wind up with an alternate Rodney who is well adjusted and cool. His sister Jeannie is actually smarter than him and her idea made the whole thing possible. But Rodney was arrogant as usual so she punished him by telling embarrassing stories to his friends, and that his real first name is Meredith. Then he ends up learning a lot from his double! 😎
