@pronoiac @joshmillard Question: My wife loves that saying (I won't lie, I do too) but a co-worker of hers says she heard that it is potentially offensive to someone/somewhere. Can either of you pinpoint the etymology? I seem to recall as I first heard it I was told Polish or Ukrainian but that's just a guess.
