The money isn’t the point. This keeps happening. I’m too trusting and people keep taking advantage of that. It makes it hard to stay open here, even though Rwanda has given us genuinely good experiences too.
Still figuring out how to stay open without being naive.

@saja0486@mas.to I know the feeling. Here in Brazil there is a lot of scammers like that and other criminals who exploit people's trust. It gets really hard to know who to trust and not feel like crap when one of them scams us. I hope you can find the right balance between trust and protecting yourself. It is certainly not easy and I imagine even harder when you are in a country you didn't grow on.
