@osma @abstractcode @geekygirldawn It's not a baseless worry if those people are writing your performance reviews and decide if you get to eat. I've seen people right in Mastodon complain about AI in the same paragraph they complain about needing to teach the juniors with absolutely zero sense of irony. EDIT: If what you want is for LLMs to be less popular in tech, step 1 is understanding why they're attractive to people in the first place.
