@Tamtam @mvsde been feeling this for years too. I worked in tech for years and found devs have expert blindness and do not often enough do the hard work of working with “regular people”
I get it as it’s hard work, but to not do it and then blame others for not understanding is gaslighting

@lifewithtrees @mvsde I have long felt, that arrogance is the main obstacle to open source reaching the masses. Not Big Tech.Too bad that knowing about tech and understanding how to communicate with people and actually do something with them are two very different skillsets.

@lifewithtrees @Tamtam @mvsde flipside: both sides not understanding each other creates jobs for those of us who have an arts background but are also sufficiently techie to sit in the middle as translators. 😅
