@aral as someone born British I'd like to point at the upper classes and blame them if I may?
My tinfoil hat consipracies are A/Some of Israel's military spyware/smarts are so utterly essential that the UK has to kiss their ass or lose them
B/A nuke warhead or two has made the trip via diplomatic bag to the UK embassy and Israel is holding the capital to ransom.
Both bonkers but so is this f'ing situation where the UK justice system is blatantly & publicly instructing its lackeys to deliver injustice.

@Niall@mastodon.nz @aral@mastodon.ar.al There was all that stuff about bankrupting the Coutts-Burdett Bank back in the day, and I don't know who had what over whom later when the Balfour Declaration was made. The prosecution of the Palestine Action barrister reminds me of the malicious prosecution of Witness K and his lawyer Bernard Collaery over the Australian government spying on the East Timorese government as they were negotiating the settlement of the Timor Sea Dispute, which was a filthy piece of work.
