#Naqi neural earbuds will let you control things using brainwaves and/or micro-gestures. If so, they could be revolutionary for anyone unable to use their voice or body to control their tech, smart home, and such: https://www.tomsguide.com/ai/i-just-tried-earbuds-that-let-me-control-things-with-my-mind-and-it-could-be-a-game-changer-for-accessibility #CES2025

@tink@w3c.social Interesting, but is this not EMG/EOG dressed up in BCI clothing?! It seems like a theme to me that these potentially useful assistive devices are (in my humble opinion) miss-marketed in this way. I admit i'm sceptical overall about significant assistive applications of BCI ('brainwaves' ) - and certainly how this is portrayed in the media (which feels technoAbleist to me).
