Altough... if we stuck it to a balloon rising up 39 km (as we have accomplished in the past), the general relativistic time acceleration for this max altitude is
delta t/t=gh/c² ~ 4E-12.
That's tantalizingly close to something a Rubidium standard *could* somehow reach?

The key might be to let it accrue the small relativistic 30ns shift during flight, but then let it again compare for an extended period of time with the reference after landing, idk

@Quantensalat Multiply up the output to ~150 MHz, and connect to an antenna. Put a in car and go for a drive. Have a friend a stationary location listen for the signal and plot the delta. You can quite easily see the doppler effect even at 60 km/h.
