@Quantensalat Multiply up the output to ~150 MHz, and connect to an antenna. Put a in car and go for a drive. Have a friend a stationary location listen for the signal and plot the delta.
You can quite easily see the doppler effect even at 60 km/h.

@dtl Oh good one! So I'll multiply it up to 144 and let it cw my call from time to time, then it's even legal.
