I get so tired of #bicycling videos that are all about #competition #racing and #cycling as a hobby.
My #bicycle is not a hobby, it's my primary form of #transportation. If you want to argue about whether 700c is better than 650b for going fast, your video ceases to hold interest for me.
I want to fit 700c x 50 mm tires with full fenders. I'm over 185 cm tall, so the size of a 700c wheel is not a problem for me, and I can take advantage of the fact that they are more comfortable.

The only reason why more bicycles are not built like this is because most bicycles are not designed for daily transportation, they are designed for hobbyists and racers. My bicycle is not for touring, it is not for "bikepacking", it is not for off-road or gravel or mountain biking, it does not need to be foldable (and I do not want a folding bicycle), it is not for transporting children. It is not a fashion statement, much less a sport. It is a way of life.

@gcvsa@mstdn.plus what about 750d wheels? 🤡 That was shown at last year's CyclingWorld fair in Düsseldorf, Germany and even received an award. 🤦 https://verkehrswende.social/@x_tof/114246833973974454
