@Broadfork@mastodon.green We are fortunate to have runner ducks in the ecosystem at our home. The runner ducks are the biggest forage animal that fits in with the vegetable gardens and native plantings. They are free ranging homebodies. Their contributions are many, foraging, pest control, manure, zen. #nodig, #ducksofmastadon

@Pollinators@epicure.social @Broadfork@mastodon.green My sister had a pair and the fox killed them both. A friend had them and they were useful until they found out, that lettuce is eatable. 😘
