My sister had a pair and the fox killed them both.
A friend had them and they were useful until they found out, that lettuce is eatable. 😘

@Irisfreundin@troet.cafe @Broadfork@mastodon.green We put fencing around the lettuces to protect from rabbits and ducks. The runner ducks are relatively safe to predators during the daytime and in the building for overnight safety. The apex predators are raccoons in this area. The runner ducks have a lookout responsibility that overlaps with keeping the group together. #ducksofmastadon
