@funkylab @trcwm Not really because standard routing algo stuff has a much larger search space and so they give up the constraint of "MUST find solution if it exists".

@tnt @trcwm aaah OK. Yeah, that seems to be a hard problem. But your components have one fixed, a priori, position? Can you constrain the number of externally affectable inputs, the maximum inter-component fanout and the number of externally observable outputs? (Can one even talk of in- and outputs, or would "this circuit emulates a resistor, so this input is actually an output" be valid?)
