  RE: https://ec.social-network.europa.eu/@EUCommission/117019207924201870 This is actually a bit surprising to me (#Horizon pots are large, and widely scoped, so integration of #Japan does mean significant growth in efforts), but fits well into the #geostrategic framework of weaning off research dependency with the US. Hmm. Wonder what that means for domestic #research #funding, and cross-organizational projects (which are rather typical for Horizon programmes).

  The Software Defined Radio Academy 2026 at HAMRADIO Friedrichshafen has just announced its call for participation.   A local band for #MusicWomenWednesday! "Malice in Wonderland" (sadly, easily confused, discogs has 14 acts of that name) makes Symphonic Metal; rhythm instrumentation style (esp. bass drum double beats) says it's Melodic Death, too. Don't like to pigeonhole anyways: They're a female-fronted metal band that plays few, but excellent gigs, and has an album with a lot of pretty different highlights.
