@violetmadder @weyoun6 My paranoid side suggests that this change may have gotten support in certain circles to create an extra burden on the Canadian healthcare system, giving them a pretext to start that process.

@violetmadder @TheGreatLlama I haven't seen any evidence to support that. The right is trying but it's very difficult to remove quality healthcare from people once they have it. Keeping people from getting it in the first place is a much easier fight.
