Sisak Caprag - Karlovac is notable for a few reasons. It was virtually fully within the occupied territory and, unlike all the other railroads, it was never restored after the war. It was struck down from the railroad register and the tracks ripped out. It is never coming back.

Another interesting thing about this timetable is the sheer amount of #CrossBorderRail between Slovenia and Croatia, at a time when the latter was still at war. Lots of long distance international services but also lots of cross border local traffic. In 2026, with lots more funding and supposedly open borders, we've got a fraction of what used to run here under wartime conditions
