Who is our biggest non-US customer? It is now the United Kingdom, who has stepped up as a very important customer for Canadian products. Huge thanks goes out to the UK for helping us get through these trying times. I'll grab some imported cheddar cheese the next time I'm at the store. The EU and China have both been slowly increasing their purchases, though this could also be a result of inflation (the values are in nominal dollars). (2/2) #CanPoli #CdnPoli

@dan613 I'd like to see those graphs excluding oil, gas, electricty exports. It would be a good time to apply export duties to those to offset US import duties on steel, aluminum, cars. Since oil & gas exports are so large, the export duties would be proportionally small, maybe even lost in the current volatility.

@dan613 interesting that Mexico has remained flat, given that we are part of CUSMA. Seens like a lost opportunity

@dan613 Britain does plenty of things right these days, compared to other G7 and OECD member states. Remarkably, considering their electorate agreed to put a disaster like #brexit in effect not too long ago! I guess they went from boasting and fluffing up feathers to fixing, and are gaining momentum.
