I would like to install an AC EVSE in our carport so we can charge our EV faster than 1.5kW. There's a good spot on a 180mm square wooden post in the corner, however I'd like to avoid messy surface conduits to provide the power. I'm now trying to work out a way of core-drilling a cable run from the top of the post through to the mounting height of the EVSE. I just need a lathe with a spindle bore of 260mm...
