@tj@howse.social There are long wood drill bits. And if 60 cm is not long enough, weld a short drill bit to a piece of steel and take it easy. 😅️

@jago@mementomori.social I've done similarly dodgy stuff in the past, however I do not enjoy the anxiety of losing a $60 wood auger deeeeep down inside a big chunk of timber. I think I might have to compromise on chasing a groove on a less-visible side of the post to bury a PVC conduit beneath the surface.
