Because I need to justify my hardware endeavours I did a quickie on the Framework website. Forking out 1739 Trumpies for a laptop that I'll have to keep looking at eternally. Guess I'll skip this 😆 Sold out until September. You never hear people talking about e-waste anymore these days. Crisis, what crisis?

@thesaigoneer@social.linux.pizza I'll stay loyal to Acer 🙂 usually works nicely as they don't try to screw the user by limiting their options artificially (such as blacklisting other miniPCI cards, etc., like a certain, formerly three letter manufacturer does). There's crisis, laptops with 16+ GB of RAM are now rarer than tears of unicorn (at least reasonably priced ones). Lucky for me, 5-6 years old HW is still more than fine (typing this at home on a 6th gen i3).
