@laguiri yes! Great examples! Each of those I notice equates the other person to a child, mentally ill person, disabled person, or infectious person respectively— so that you can feel superior to/disdainful of them and not have to care what they think.

@laguiri@neopaquita.es @Tattie@eldritch.cafe To add insult to injury, whatever kind of “god” or “religion” is meant here when people say these things un-ironically…it is in their minds some version of Christianity or Wrong Christianity. Tell these people a Jewish atheist is different from a Christian atheist and they are likely to have a come-apart.
