@Fionnáin Reminds me btw, how rural communities in the vicinity of Berlin, say 140 inhabitants in a village, have glassfibre internet, which is 20x times faster, than what i have in the city. In fact, they don't even use it much :)

@jrp yes, we have some good rural fiber here too, thanks to a publicly funded national rollout. However, I learned from rural studies colleagues that 'rural' in Ireland is very different from rural spaces in many other countries in northern Europe, because of a few historical events. As an artist, I try to look deeper at that history, and what it affects today in terms of major landworks, electrical infrastructure, and distributed data centres in very remote places.
